*Unsanctioned Event* New pinball tournament format centered around stall ball at Ground Kontrol! What is stall ball? Players line up to attempt to "stall" the ball by shooting any shot that temporarily stops the ball (such as any scoop, saucer, magnet, lock etc.) without draining and cycle through players until all but one player is eliminated. Fast-paced and fun! Players will be grouped into 3 or 4 players each round, with 7-5-3-1 scoring for groups of 4 and 7-5-1 scoring for groups of 3. Rounds will be drawn until 9:30pm, and then the top half of players will all play one game of stall ball on the top seed's choice of game for the finals match. During qualifying matches, each player may choose to place a $1 bill on the glass to reduce visibility for some added chaos! For an equally fair player experience, games featured in the tournament will give no warnings before tilts. Prizes 1st: Golden flipper keychain + pick from Matt's prize trunk 2nd: Pick from Matt's prize trunk 3rd: Pick from Matt's match prize box 4th: Pick from Matt's match prize box Top woman (cis/trans) / non-binary player: Pick from Matt's prize trunk Random player: Pick from Matt's prize trunk Free registration will take place in one of Ground Kontrol's lounge areas from 6:30-7pm with optional FREE PLAY cards loaded with unlimited credits for the rest of the night for $6 cash. These optional FREE PLAY cards will only be available to tournament players who register with our tournament director from 6:30-7pm, otherwise our standard power-up cards will be available to purchase from the kiosk in the red side of the arcade or from either bar as per usual.
